The objective of the Rural Boundary Clearing Code is to simplify vegetation management for owners or occupiers of land for the purpose of bush fire hazard mitigation by allowing them to clear vegetation on their property within 25 metres of their property boundary.

This should always be undertaken with consideration of environmental impacts!
