This method is commonly adopted by our arborists as an additional service for onsite investigations and evidence building for our ‘Arboricultural Impact Assesments’.
Root Mapping is a conclusive and evidence-based Arboricultural measure that can serve as clear-cut evidence in justifying major encroachments into allocated Tree Protection Zones (TPZ) and Structural Root Zones (SRZ).
Unfortunately, for all scenarios it is impossible to avoid impacting roots. Sensitive root hairs and minor damage to the outer root bark can be a bi-product. Hence, the presence of an AQF level 5 Arborist is of the upmost importance to best rectify this damage and as quickly as possible to ensure your site’s trees remain viable.
We have successfully adopted this method on numerous of our large projects with great results! This method along with sound documentation and reporting have directly influenced approval on some of our most complex and high-profile sites.
