Engagement and Project Information
Our AQF5 arborist will firstly consult with yourself, your team, project managers, planners etc on a wide range of topics such as:
- Are we a good fit? We will assess in the earliest stages if it is a project we can add value and assist you with. Its -an exchange of energy and we want to ensure that your outcomes and expectations align with our professional values, schedule and processes.
- Expectation of DA lodgement dates.
- Feedback from Council if it has been submitted and tree protection issues raised
- Your expectations for the site and design considerations.
- Your enthusiasm to adopt/adhere to Council conditions, tree protection measures, project compliancy stages etc.
- Request to email us all current and applicable plans, reports, consent and any other documentation or details relating to the trees onsite.
Fee Proposal
Following obtaining all the above information, a clear fee proposal will be emailed to the client. In some cases, an initial site inspection for quoting purposes may be required. The fee proposal will outline fixed prices for reports, proposed deliverable dates, ongoing representation fees, project arborist availability and fees etc.
Project Specific Details, Background & Influencing Factors
Before going to site, appropriate background checks are conducted such as Council zoning restrictions, development control plans (DCP) and Local Environmental Plans (LEP) measures, boundary checks, high risk fire zone mapping, endangered ecological/heritage listings are in place, core Koala habitat mapping etc.
